The Southern Tier Digital Equity Coalition (STDEC) is a diverse group of regional stakeholders whose primary role is to address digital equity and identify opportunities to improve participation for all citizens. STDEC primarily serve the counties of Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tompkins, and Tioga. The Coalition also welcomes participation from organizations from contiguous counties that are not served by other coalitions including Otsego and Scholarie. STDEC collaborates with the other coalitions within New York State and especially those which are contiguous, e.g. Western, Finger Lakes, and Central.
